Who We Work With

At Bodle Integrative Health we work with people who have chronic, unresolved thyroid issues that need comprehensive care and answers

When we work with patients at Bodle Integrative Health they primarily fall into two categories.

The first group is people who have been working with a primary care physician or endocrinologist due to their thyroid problems. They have been prescribed medication and while that may or may not have helped initially, over time their symptoms return to what they once were or they fail to change at all.

This usually results in return visits to the doctor where medication is slightly altered or some more blood labs are ran, but the symptoms continue to persist with little hope for the future or plans for change. This situation can be extremely frustrating and often lead to confusion on the patients end, since the thing they're supposed to be treated for is completely failing to be appropriately treated.

The second group is people who have many symptoms that are associated with thyroid disorders, but when they seek help they are told that their labs are "normal" or that their symptoms are "all in their head." This can be just as troublesome because these people know they don't feel right and they don't know where to turn for help.

It's important for our patients to understand that getting lasting results takes time and will not happen over night. However, when we look at your body as a whole and take all factors into account, we expect to get the fastest results possible and see signs of healing early on that we can track and improve upon.

People who we work with typically have the following in common...

  • They have one or a combination of symptoms including fatigue, weight gain, brain fog, sleep issues, digestive problems, depression, low motivation, thinning hair, generalized pain, and constipation.

  • They have thyroid symptoms that are chronic in nature

  • They are looking to truly improve their health and wellbeing, not just cover symptoms

  • They have seen many practitioners, but none seem to have any answers

  • They are frustrated by their current medical care and sometimes feel as if they're not being taken seriously

  • They want a natural route to healing and would like to avoid surgery or medication if possible

  • They want someone to do things differently, think outside the box, and provide a personalized care plan that is tailored to their needs

  • They want to work with a doctor who understands the intricacies of thyroid physiology, recognizes the connections it has to the rest of the body, and has proven, effective methods for healing

If you're ready to do things differently and start getting your life back call 206-824-8464 to see if you qualify for care
